SHOES for SEVEN FARMS APARTMENTS

We have a great way to love our neighbors. Once again, we are hosting a shoe drive for the children at Seven Farms Apartments, across the street from the DI campus. This is a great opportunity to bless the kids who live here with a brand-new pair of shoes.

Each pair of shoes costs $50. Please donate by August 5 and the church will purchase all the needed sizes for the kids.

USED CLOTHING FOR NORTH CHARLESTON

Last year, Holy Cross responded to Stephanie Naumann request to help provided needed items for children at her School. She's a school nurse in an impoverished neighborhood in North Charleston. Many of the children have parents who are limited and challenged in many ways; some are incarcerated. Some times these children show up at school in clothes and shoes that do not fit or are torn or dirty. Sometimes they don’t make it to the bathroom. Parents do not send extra clothing, underwear, etc. It's an enormous ministry for the staff to have extra clothes to help children make it through the day. Bring your gently used clothing to one of our campuses between July 25-August 8. We will have donation stations set up.

BACKPACKS FOR THE EAST SIDE

We are working alongside CCPLC here in the low country to help get kids on the Eastside ready for school by providing needed backpacks and school supplies. Bring any of the needed items to either Holy Cross campus between July 25-August 8.
