Codependency Part II

(conversations about the places in our lives where the rubber meets the road with our Christian faith)

Are relationships heavy, confusing...do you find yourself trapped again and again in the same problems?  You're not alone.

Conversations about brokenness in hopes of creating a safe place to begin the process of recovery in all our lives. We call it The Rubber and The Road.

This year we begin the conversation on codependency. The trickiest part about codependency is that we often call it "love" but it really isn't.

Codependency is basically when a person finds themselves in a one-sided relationship(s). One person in the relationship relies on the other for meeting all of their emotional and self-esteem needs. Classically, this is seen when one of the people in the relationship has an addiction, BUT it has become clear that codependency affects way more people in the general public than previously thought.

SO, that means these conversations are for anyone and everyone. We will have resources on hand for those who feel described by the topic and conversation.
