We're also getting ready to feed the hungry in our community with our friends at ECCO. Our Grocery Bag Sunday & Neighborhood Food Drives will be on March 21. Paul Cooper and Deanna and Jason Ridley are helping organize a neighborhood food drive. We’re going to invite our island neighbors to drop off food at Holy Cross and you can invite your neighbors to drop food off at your house.
Here's how you can engage your neighbors, feed the hungry and fulfill God's mission:
Volunteer at our Holy Cross drop off site on Friday, March 19 (9am-5 pm) or Saturday, March 20 (9am-2pm) to host our drop off location on Sullivan’s Island? (We'll maintain COVID protocols at the drop off areas.) Email Paul Cooper to volunteer.
Contribute non-perishable foods at church on March 21 (or at other drop off times)
Create a small Neighborhood Food Drive
Invite your neighbors to bring food to your house for ECCO.
Print out enough copies for your neighbors and fill in your address and contact info.
Deliver those to your neighbors and invite them to feed the hungry.
